Background
The story began when author Jakkal produced a webcomic entitled Black Tapestries, which ran from 2002 to 2008, a fantasy story about a human woman named Lorelei who is caught in a magical world named Raekarta inhabited by two races, namely humans and anthropomorphic animals known as "Kaetif", who despise each other and struggle for power in this world.
In 2013, a roleplaying community known as the Realm of Kaerwyn was formed, with Lorelei becoming the main character in this scenario. In 2017 Jakkal would use her character Lorelei in a webcomic based on this scenario.
Downfall
By Chapter 16 the story has gone downhill to the point where the whole thing stops making sense anymore.
Story and Plot
Art review
Realistic art, thick outlines, muted colors, but good shading and proportions and animation without overdoing it. The artist also knows how to play with panels rather than follow a rigid format:
The art style has remained the same throughout the webcomic's run.

Conclusion
As this webcomic is based on a roleplaying scenario, the natural question is how much influence that has on this webcomic. Did Jakkal simply write the story on her own, or do the people involved in the role playing itself have any influence on the direction the webcomic takes? There is no real way of knowing this, but either way the story started off well and went to pot later in its existence.
