Talk:The Legend of Spyro: Zonoya’s Revenge
On the tv tropes page, it brings up a wasted plot: Frijir never learns anything about Malefor. He could've found out how evil Malefor was, why Spyro doesn't trust him (OOC as it was) and wondering if he would become evil as well, not to mention that Frijir not acting evil before having the lesson that your parents don't define you. But instead the comic just sweeps the whole thing under the rug because shaloneSK is a terrible writer, at least when it comes to drama. You've already mentioned how Frijir is a wasted character who only exists to amplify Nina and Zonoya's sureness and I feel this is another example of how his character is wasted.
One thing I really hated about this comic was how Flame, Ember and Ash were treated. Yes, Flame and Ember were minor characters who only appeared in two games, but they had potential to be more than that. But no, shalone went the way of most SpyroxCynder shippers and turns Ember into a crazy stalker with Flame only existing just to be the guy she settles for. Then after that, they're nothing more than Ash's parents. As for Ash, everything about him revolves Nina-sue: being her friend, crushing on her, getting mad when Frijir appears as a rival for Nina-sue's affections, etc. There's barely any time in the comic where he's doing something without Nina or doing something he wants instead of what Nina wants. It's true that he acted like a jerkass to Frijir but I think that's because he wouldn't know what to do with himself if Nina wasn't with him.
>Seeing that she’s a carnivore, I’m betting she’ll be dead within a week. Untrue. Dragons don't do anything with the meat, it's the butterflies keeping their dragonflies fed that keep 'em going... ;) Thank you very much for my favorite review on the site.
