Auto-fix images

Hey,

I'm working on a script that automatically converts the old markdown syntax to the new one, but I'm sort of stuck with how to deal with images. Is there any way we can have the entire image archive moved over at once, while keeping the same names? That way fixing the image tags would just involve changing the syntax, while keeping the same link address.

  • Wow, a scrip? That's amazing man. I wish I knew how to do that kind of cool stuff... Anyway, i'll look into it but I will tell you right now that I seriously doubt it. I'lll get back to you once I know. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 14:56, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Well, it isn't perfect, but it should still cut down our work. Sadly I don't know how to run python scripts. Let me know if you can turn it into an executable. Thank you for the help.Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 03:10, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

question

I have a webcomic in mind, but do I need to go to the forum and talk about it or should I just create the article?--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 11:53, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

  • wait there is no forum--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 11:54, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Well, generally speaking- Yes. You need to make a thread on the forum and people need to voice their opinion on it. But you should tell me the comic, if I know it and it's bad i'll give you a green light right now. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 11:55, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • well it's not a webcomic you probably know, but it's a dbz fanfic called Dragon ball multiverse, not the concept is cool and the art is great. But there is one problem with all of that, the author salagar is know for his mary sue characters that he prefers over other characters in the db universe. He even admits many times that he changed many DB logic to his own because he didn't like it.And worst of all is that he didn't change, he hasn't improve since all those years in his story writing, and we can see clear biased favoritism over characters, also according to salager's logic future gohan is stronger than dabura yet weaker than 18&17 ^_^.--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 12:08, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Honestly man? This sounds like a bad reason to write a review, but it's not up to me to decide. The problem is- You have to make a new thread to ask people if you can review it, to do that you need an account on the old BWW, but you can't make an account because wikidot made us be privet and and we hit the 1000 user limit for free wikis.

It will be a while until I figure out how to make a new forum. So this will have to wait.Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 12:16, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • ok I'm gonna gather my thoughts and write why I dislike this webcomic, send me a message on edf when the forums are up.--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 12:38, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • You know what? Write down what you want to say and i'll make the thread for you. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 12:41, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • thx, DBM is just as confusing, overpowered and out of character moments as Dbgt, in same ways worse. Its fanmade but still.. I also give up on arguing with people on Kanzenshuu forum. They arent really having any good point. Its just repeating themselves over and over again"Vegeta has to be good or else he wont get the Mystic power up." "We know much about Hanasia as we do about Bardock. Shes not a Mary Sue. She was killed by Rachi so she isnt perfect!". Im done with it to be honest lol.
  • Funny how Salgar likes to bash GT and what not, DBM has even more plotholes than GT (Broly fighting evenly with Vegito, Gohan being able to give away his mystic power, etc...)
  • But Salagir REALLY dropped the ball there, Dabura is stronger than 17, 18, 19, and 20 combined. Yet somehow Future Gohan is able to match Dabura in a fight and even kill him in the end...WTF?!
  • The thing I hate, that they give HUGE plot armor to certain characters. I mean how did U13 Kakarot get so strong without training? How did U13 Vegeta turn into a Super Saiyan at Namek? How come Dabura didn't kill Gohan in the Mirai universe? etc...
  • There are many characters that are out of characters like when gohan was givving his mystic power to the saiyans, gohan would never try to make a deal with the bad guys he could've just told them to fuck off since they can't touch him or hurt him since they would be disqualified from the tournament.SO WHY WOULD HE HELP THEM.
  • "Salagar said that he considers DBM more canon then DBGT"

So he basically believes that the fan comic that hes writing is more canon than what the studio that funded the original Dragonball and DBZ made. Wow.

  • He makes specials now and then which explains the back story of certain characters, but he REALLY makes crappy and boring ones as well like the bojack one.
  • In the latest chapter he made vegito lose becuase of a dirty trick, but he made him look like a crybaby, whats funny is that Vegito beat Wanked Powered Broly the exact same way. Out of the ring for 30 seconds on both ends. Vegito knows he lost fair and square otherwise he wouldnt use that tactic on Broly. Now the rules are stupid because someone did the same thing to him. It's childish and inexcusable for someone in his position. He knows he's the most powerful being there, he should be responsible with that power instead of throwing a big tantrum and attacking people who had nothing to do with it. Anger is not an excuse that kind of behavior. He's had plenty years to learn how control himself, the Vegeta and Goku side of him are gone, he is his own person now. He tells Bra to control her anger (Which she didnt) yet he cant control himself. What a hypocrite.--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 12:59, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Okay, I made a thread on the forum... Although I don't think anyone will understand what you are talking about... it sounds like you want to write a review because you are mad at this comic for fucking up the show's internat cannon about who is stronger or weaker... It's like writing a review about someone who disagrees with you about who would win in a fight between batman and superman. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 13:14, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • I'm disappointed because I used to be a fan of this webcomic which is I'm mad at it, now the story writing has gone shit which is why I got a bit frustrated, you can say it had a huge downfall(especially the latest chapters).--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 13:20, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

  • You have to explain what is wrong with the comic better... Besides it getting DBZ's internal mythology wrong.Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 13:21, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • That's because it's salager's version of dbz, and like I said there are many plot armor in the story, and I think I mentioned the mary sue.--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 13:24, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Anyway see if it's fit for a review or anything, I'm going back to developing the rpg game we're working on.--Mr toast.jpgmilwinWanna get toasty :3 13:32, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Gook luck with that. I'll let you know what the guys say.Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 13:35, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

Collective Reviews

I've started working on a template for webcomic collective reviews. I have a rough outline right now. Would you like me to send it in a private message to your profile on the old wiki, or just post it here?--Izzus (talk) 14:47, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

  • Oh! I see! I misunderstood what you meant... Yes! This is a wonderfull idea. I also like it because in a few days I was about to make series templates for KatBox, SNAFU, Fresh Epics, CMX910 and probably the crap that Shomer of L.I.C.D sponsors. This way the templates can also have a main article that is linked to them... I like this idea! Good work! Show me when you think it is done. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 15:02, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Okay

  • 1) Looks good... "Social Media" will probably be useless... I don't remember any webcomic group that has a facebook or anything like that. Annd if they do I doubt there is anything to say about them.
  • 2) "Various Failures" will probably also be useless... We can keep it, but I cant think of any way a webcomic collective can fail that is not the failure of one of the webcomic artist or fans. The only way a webcomic groups fails as a group is by virtue of joining together a bunch f really bad webcomics.
  • 3) Now the question is: "What to do with this?"... Should we make a new page for this template? We are only going to get a limited amout of use out of it because there are only so many of these groups we can review. The only ones I can think of are: SNAFU, Fresh Epics, KatBox, Rayen Shomer Productions, CMX910 and maaaaaybe Comic Genessis. That's six pages this can be used for, tops.
There are also "LoveShack" and "Tomboy", but they aren't bad in any way... Point is: Template done, what now?Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 17:31, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

  • Understandable. I initially designed the template thinking about how I would review Drunkduck or SNAFU, and included the topics I would touch upon with those reviews. I think that since the template's topic is so niche it would be a good idea to hand it out to people who want to write the review rather than make a whole new page for it. At least, that's my two cents. --Izzus (talk) 17:24, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
  • I still wanna make a page. First- so it will be saved somewhere other than my user-page. And second- so that if anyone wants to write a review about a group he will know that this is an option+ have a ready-made template.Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 17:31, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
  • That seems reasonable. I look forward to the finalized page. --Izzus (talk) 18:38, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
  • The finalized page is just a copy/paste of what you just posted here. Or do you mean the first review made with it? Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 18:55, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Both, sort of. I thought you were going to remove the social media section and touch it up, but a copy paste job is good too. As for the first review under that template, I do look forward to it. --Izzus (talk) 19:43, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
  • The first one will probably be your DrunkDuck/SNAFU thing... people will need an example of what to do before any of them tries it himself OI suspect. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 19:50, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Hey there.

Hey there, I am a new member here and I just want to ask one question. Are we allowed to fix the grammatical errors of the reviews here? Alan Pardew (talk) 06:41, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

  • Not only can but encouraged to do so... we often have overlooked mistakes on some reviews and anyone who is willing to help fix them will have my gratitude. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 12:10, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Webcomic Groups page

Hey, long-time lurker from the old website. Quick question, are you the same Oddguy that I sometimes see pop up over at Shittywebcomics?

Anyways, I notice on the new site a bunch of comics have a template for major webcomic hosts like keenspot or pixie trix. I like the idea, but I think we can also make a page so that it's easy to navigate comics by host, and perhaps add some extra information like a brief history of the host and perhaps some other comics/affiliates that don't have a review on this site. What do you think? Plarblman (talk) 19:57, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

EDIT: Derp. I look up and it seems someone already has the same idea, they just used the word collective and I didn't catch it at first. Plarblman (talk) 19:59, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

  • To answer your question - I don't know. They quoted me a number of times on things I never said. At first they quoted something someone else said on another website I use and I assumed it was a mistake. But when I corrected them they made fun of me and said that I am not the only oddguy. I am not sure if that was just a joke or they really thought I am some other oddguy, but now it has become a running gag where they attribute random quotes to "oddguy" which if really funny to me. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 21:05, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
  • OK then. Well, my last idea might be already taken, but I noticed on your list that you wanted to get Tails Gets Trolled reviewed. I'm actually reading it right now and have some prior wiki experience. Would it be ok if I started drafting a review on my page? Plarblman (talk) 23:31, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Uh... actually, I have a sort of secret thing going on regarding that comic that I don't want to get into details about because it will ruin the surprise. It might still be a while, but that's why I am not writing a review yet and don't want anyone else to. Sorry. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 07:00, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Forums

I'm getting "Sorry, you can not add new post in this thread. Only members of this site, site administrators and perhaps selected moderators are allowed to do it." no matter which forum I post in. Even ones like the "Challenges to Existing Reviews". Why is this? DentsAndDings (talk) 09:18, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

  • I should really get on that............ The thing is we moved to this site from another site because we were violating ToS over there. So they made out site privet and everyone who wanted to read it had to join. But free sites on wikidot have a 1000 user limit. So when we hit it no one could join our site and we moved here instead. But I haven't made a new forum for us yet and anyone who hasn't already joined the old site can't join now or pot on the forum............. I have been slacking on this for too long. I promise that I will make a new forum for us some time soon. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 10:03, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Lesbot

Hey Oddguy, is there anyway to get in contact with Lesbot? I need to ask (presumably) her if she has a certain comic archived. Thanks a lot man.

Laurie Mondone (talk) 22:21, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

  • I can try to look her up but I don't think "Lesbot" is a very original username so I doubt I will be able to. What comic is it? Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 06:47, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Oh, it's Shredded Moose. I just wanted to see if Lesbot still had the comics that she used for the images she posted in the Shredded Moose review. I'd be grateful if someone has anything from that comic saved since it's so rare, nowadays.

On a side note, I do have an interesting reaction from Shredded Moose's author. After he flipped out and destroyed his whole website, Brew moved on to illustrating several children's books, ironically after he wrote a comic about aborting them and shooting them. Just goes to show that negative reviews can do something positive for the world.

Laurie Mondone (talk) 15:58, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

  • I see... I will try to contact her but I think she just linked to the site. I doubt she saved any of it. You might find some of it still saved on web archive if you look real hard... About the reaction... do you have something he posted? And was the reaction to OUR review or just in general? Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 16:36, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! I already tried the web archive to no avail sadly.

And nah, I think it was more a reaction in general to the whole internet calling him out. I only know this because I stumbled onto his site: http://www.brianartwork.com/ I just think it's funny that after three years of being the edgemiester, he moved on to children's books.

Laurie Mondone (talk) 17:01, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

  • Hahaha... that is pretty funny. I'll let you know if I find anything out abourt where to find some of the comic. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 17:52, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Confused

Hi, I'm new here. It's been said that if I want to suggest a webcomic to be reviewed, I have to put it on the forum, but the forum link keeps taking me to the old site. Can you help?

  • Yeah, sorry about that. We moved sites because our old site got shut down and it won't allow new members to join now. I need to make a new forum to solve this problem and I intend to do that in the next few days. I actually already found a good free forum site and made one but i'm still playing around with it before I make it public. So wait a few more days and you can post your topic on our new forum... sorry for the inconvenience. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 18:54, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

Sinfest update

I don't know if you remember, but a while back I posted a suggestion for updating the sinfest article on the forums. You said you'd eventually add it, but it's been a while since then. Do you mind if I work it in myself? Most likely I'll use most of what I already wrote and put it in the writing section. Plarblman (talk) 17:54, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

  • Alright, do your thing. But I wanna talk about this a bit before you do because I have to be honest... some of the points you make? Really reaching. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 22:14, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Ok, but do you mind weighing in on which points you think need work? I think its best if you go back to the original forum post and point out which ones. I'm considering condensing anyways, so I could simply just pluck out the weaker points and just write just a paragraph or two on consistency. Plarblman (talk) 03:02, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

  • Okay, i'll get to it sometime soon. I'm at work right now. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 14:00, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Contact

Hi Oddguy, could you contact me directly ASAP (via email) at lcawte (at) shoutwiki.com. Thanks --[[User:Lcawte|Lewis Cawte]] ([[User talk:Lcawte|talk]]) <staff /> (talk) 16:47, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

Category Link

Hi Oddguy,

I created category:Webcomics and linked all webcomic review pages to it, and am thinking of putting non-review articles such as BWW Tutorials and Lectures in another category. I did so because I was just hitting the random button and didn't see any lists of articles. I used the all pages link which I only know about because I'm an administrator on a couple of non-related wikis.

There's no link to this category, obviously, on the main page, but I thought new visitors to the site might want to see it. ArthurD2 (talk) 17:27, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

  • Oh! Thank you so much! I can never bring myself to do this kind of stuff. <3 Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 20:43, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

Fair Use Liscenses

Hey, I see you're adding fair use tags to images. I think that's a good idea, and while I'm not 100% certain about how it all is supposed to work, Normally I see them put on the file page itself rather than the talk page. Plarblman (talk) 15:19, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

  • I'm not 100% on this either but Shoutwiki asked me to do this for images that complain about copyright... The wife of the guy that does RA has been trying to get all the Frech Epics reviews taken down. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 17:09, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Well yes, obviously, they're a good idea. I just think it'd be more useful to have them on the file page instead of the talk, as that's the normal wiki practice. It's also easier to find that way. Plarblman (talk) 23:58, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

What the hell, dude?

Almost every other fucking review you write uses the words "tranny" or "retarded," sometimes multiple times. I have a hard time believing no one's called you on your shit before, so you've probably been deleting criticism and will delete this one too, but I'm going to write it anyway. Fuck you dude. I enjoyed this website until I stumbled across the reviews written by you, the admin, and realized that you're actually a bigoted piece of shit. Johnnyo (talk) 01:51, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

  • Actually, no. No one has called me out on it since this isn't tumblr you quivering little pussy. I have, however, been called out on it on some other sites, but I don't give a shit. Therefore, to you I say: Fuck off you tranny retard.
P.S- I also make fun of fat people. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 03:41, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

  • Wait a minute... I actually just did a search for the words "Retard", "Tranny" and "Retarded" on the site and found that we have about 80 pages with the word retard/retarded, most of which were not made by me (obviously) and three pages with the word tranny, two of which are mine. If those words offend you then you should have fucked off a long time ago. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 03:59, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

New Template

I created a draft for a new template on my sandbox page. I think it'd be useful for us to distinguish between actual porn comics and cheesecake comics. Besides having different levels of sexual content in them, I think it also helps identify comics that are too pathetic to go full porn. Tell me what you think. Plarblman (talk) 16:33, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

  • That's a good idea. It'll save us more arguments over what should and shouldn't be tagged NSFW. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 17:05, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • At least some cheesecake comics may still count as NSFW, but creating a distinction will let readers know how NSFW it is. I'm thinking of doing a code yellow: cheesecake and a code red: porn distinction to show the severity. I'll modify it further to show you what I mean. Plarblman (talk) 18:05, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Okay. Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 20:41, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • If you're satisfied with it, I can start adding it to reviews right away. The only question is whether or not I use it to replace the NSFW template or add it underneath. What do you think? Plarblman (talk) 22:26, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Yeah, replace it. comics that are tagged NSFW and are just cheesecake, replace the template with the yellow template. Comics that are NSFW and are tagged NSFW replace the template with the red template. That's gonna be our new NSFW template and i'll retire the old one. Don't forget to make template pages... You know how to do that, right? Busey.pngoddguyBusey.png 07:24, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Yeah. I'll get on that right away. I'll just do the easy thing and edit the current NSFW template with the red one so that I don't have to go into every review and replace it manually. Plarblman (talk) 14:05, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Adding links in other pages

Hey Mr. Oddguy, I was reading some miscellaneous pages such as the Mary-Sue page and saw some words that could be linked to other pages/other comic reviews (like talking about CAD, but there is no link to the review), am I allowed to do this? --Eldeon (talk) 21:41, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

spambots

You seem to be having some trouble with those spambots; I noticed they keep uploading the same pages over and over. I'm not familiar with shoutwiki but on wikia you're able to block certain pages from being created. Have you tried that? Plarblman (talk) 20:23, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

  • I doubt that can be done but i'll check. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 08:12, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

The spam page

I actually meant deleting Why Shemale Cam Is No Friend To Small Business the spam page itself, not just the talk page. - LucidFox (talk) 08:32, 25 October 2014 (UTC)

Sonichu

A pagemove vandal moved the page to Nigger nigger nigger345 and spread lies about you. I restored the content, but can you please restore the page title and block the vandal? Thanks. DentsAndDings (talk) 19:14, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

ShoutWiki staff are already one step ahead of you ;) --Lewis Cawte (talk) ShoutWiki Staff 19:18, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks :) Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 19:27, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Should be cleaned up for the second time today. We'll be turning on some rate limiting for page moves for "new" users so it should take determined vandals a lot longer to do something like this if they ever want to try it again. --Lewis Cawte (talk) ShoutWiki Staff 20:00, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Oddguy, Lcawte: The Furthia High page is still messed up; it's at FurtODDGUY TOLD CYN HE WOULD RAPE HER hia High and it looks like it was made a redirect to itself. Please fix? DentsAndDings (talk) 07:14, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
Wikis For the Wiki God Articles for the Article throne. Seriously though working at restoring a bunch of the crap that's been done by this clown but there's a bunch of articles that need deleting now. Horerczy

ODDGUY THREATENED CYN'S MOTHER

This user, User:ODDGUY THREATENED CYN'S MOTHER, has been engaging in page move vandalism. I recommend an indefinite block. DonovanW1996 (talk) 15:36, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Pagemove vandalism

Hey, the wiki's getting hit hard with pagemove vandals who have it out for you. Any chance you can appoint any other admins to deal with it more quickly? I'd gladly volunteer. DentsAndDings (talk) 19:02, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Chat

So I think it would be a good idea if you drop me an email... we need to have a chat about a few things - not just about the recent events here. --Lewis Cawte (talk) ShoutWiki Staff 01:34, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Trusted group idea

Have LCawte told about implemented a trusted group to prevent future vandalism? Some of the guy at the forums agree with the idea.

Dresden Codak Update

Hey, for a while now I had been talking about updating Dresden Codak, but I hadn't had the time to do so until now. First though I want to make sure if it's ok with you; I know it was originally written by the site founder, but I think the current version is way too short, even if you didn't include anything from the new Dark Science arc. I might end up needing to rewrite entire sections if it comes to that. If you want, I can create a mock-up review on my page for you to check before any changes are made. Plarblman (talk) 02:37, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

  • You don't have to give me a preview, I trust your judgement. Just do me a favor and try more to add than rewrite because I just feel guilty about anyone messing with our really old reviews. But just do you're thing and know that I'm fine with it. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 10:13, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Ok it's done. The only section I completely rewrote was the author biography, which was like 2 sentences with dead links. What do you think? Plarblman (talk) 17:14, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Good work. I like it. Since we're already fixing it up I took the liberty of fixing minor typos and adding a couple of things I had to say about him and his comic. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 21:58, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
  • That ancedote that you end the author bio with, do you have a link for that? Also, I'm concerned that I start off the bio by saying "I try to avoid making harsh judgement of people" and then you call the woman you mentioned "a dumb whore" when I or anyone else don't really know anything about her. Something's gotta change or else people are going to point out this inconsistency. Plarblman (talk) 17:16, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
  • I don't have a link to that tweet I mentioned. I saw it a long time ago and have no clue where to look now. And yeah, change what you like. I was only saying it to be funny. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 06:29, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

Troll editing the Sabrina Online page

So... there is this one guy who has multiple accounts that is editing the Sabrina Online page, with usernames like "lithiumisasshole or "plarblmanisgay" is there any way you could lock that page, or just get rid of the troll? thanks. --Lithium (talk) 18:50, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

502 errors nginx

i keep on getting those recently, do you have any reason why? --Lithium (talk) 19:14, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Did the forums get nuked?

The forum link in the sidebar is gone, and the url only gets a blank page. Did something happen? Plarblman (talk) 02:53, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

  • The forum is fine. Something is wrong with the sidebar. I'll fix it. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 07:26, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
  • Looks like something is up with shoutwiki. I'll give it a couple of days to fix itself and if it doesn't I'll contact them. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 07:35, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Reactions page image, webcomics used?

Hi, I'm brand new to this wiki and am wondering what webcomics were used for the main image on the Reactions page! Some of them have a cute art style even though I know they're terrible, and I wanna know what they are. I recognize Ctrl+Alt+Del, Sonichu and Jack, but don't know the others. If you could inform me, that'd be lovely! --Silvie Skydancer (talk) 02:42, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

I think I can help you. From left to right, the comics are: Least I Could Do, Sandra and Woo, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Sinfest, Jack, Better Days, So... You're a Cartoonist? and Sonichu. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. --FernandoLemon (talk) 10:20, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

  • Yep. That's them. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 14:23, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
    • Speaking of which I noticed that the image is larger than the page itself. I's wonderin if that's a thing localized to me or whatever. I looked at it on my laptop and my desktop, it's the same on both of them in multiple browsers. Izzus
  • Yeah, I set its size by pixels. I'll fix it later. Busey.png oddguy Busey.png 08:41, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Yuku Malfunctions

The forum has been screwed up for almost 2 weeks. No one has been able to log in since yesterday afternoon. It might be time to look into getting a new forum.--SmashLampjaw (talk) 03:06, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

I agree, this has been a problem off and on for the past few months. It's frustrating too since it seems to affect all of Yuku's forums, as I can't even access its support forum at this time. I don't think anyone cares at this point whether or not we lose our old threads since they're barely functional anyway. Plarblman (talk) 03:30, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Well, like the previous version of this site and the older forums, you can just leave this one up if there is another migration to a new forum again, right? So, the content would still be there and not lost in that sense, right? People could link back and/or copy/paste if they really felt the need to do so for whatever they were talking about if they had to. Shan (talk) 04:40, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Shan

  • Well, I guess let's put it to a vote? I don't really want to lose the threads we have but if it's that big of a problem maybe we should move. I pick yuku because they're lenient with their content so there's less of a chance they ban us if people complain to them, but I realized it's a pretty buggy site soon after.
