Considering this [1] review shouldn't be listed as giving it a "Meh" score. It actually gives it a score of 3/5, praising its writing but highlighting art issues. I get the attempt at humour, and we are, in fact, on a humouristic wiki, but reporting false or unaccurate information about third party reviews is a no-no in my book. Proposed reformulation: "This review gave it a mixed score of 3/5, praising writing quite a bit but pointing out the art as looking like it's been drawn by an highschooler, apart from some sequences in which the author switches to a more realistic style." trying not to lose humour factor, but giving a better idea of what actually the review says. Alternatively, if this seems too verbose or unfun, propose other reformulations both in touch with actual review content and fun itself, or if not possible, strike reference. -Dellis

  • I wrote this review ages ago yo. I hate every review I made except for the Exterminatus Now and Bravoman ones. Been meaning to update them but haven't gotten around to it. Except for Escape From Terra and SGVY. Those reviews are a clusterfuck I don't even wanna think about touching. If anyone else wants to update my reviews they have my permission. But on your topic I thought Meh was a good allegory for 3/5. Like the shit's average. That's what 3/5 is. Why wouldn't Meh be average.
  • Don't bash your reviews like that, there's good humour around! Onto the matter at hand: "Meh" is in fact used to express averageness, it's just I feel it doesn't convey the tension between bad art and good writing that the review expresses. Sort of like someone who gets "C" marks in every subject is different from someone who gets an equal number of A and Es, while it still averages to C. For example, to someone for whom writing weighs much more than art, NotAVillain might be interesting in the reviewer's book. On another note, "Meh" feels kinda derogatory for an average score, i'd have preferred it stated "average score" outright. Well, with a disclaimer: I'm not an english mothertongue, so I may very well be mistaking subtle meanings like this: you're free to insult me, throw me chickens, ducks and other assorted aviarians if I am. [Proposed change : "Gave it average score", until something better comes to my mind (or yours). Still doesn't express the reasons of the review's average score, but hey, we're linking to it after all.] - Dellis
  • Sure sounds good. I don't care.
