Defining Flaw: The author pushes out comics with little to no dialogue, but then suddenly hits the reader with 8 to 10 panels full of walls of text.

Rating Summary

Art: Wiki.pngWiki.png

Stick figures for the most part... But not on the crap level of XKCD.

Storyline: THERE IS NONE.
Characters: Wiki.png

Just your typical author self inserts here with other cookie cutter characters needed to complete your average gamer comic.

Miscellaneous Details: Walls and walls of text per comic. Reading through each comic feels more like a chore rather than reading a webcomic like it should.
Overall: Stick figures, bland humor, and walls of text. No fun for reading. I would suggest the King James Version of the Bible if you're looking for a read that provides more laughs.

Background

One night, a very bad night mind you, I found myself hopped up on caffeine pills and on the internet. Whilst riding the high of my caffeine frenzy I stumbled across a certain webcomic and thought "Hey it's a webcomic about games! Why not read it?!" And this, children, is why you do not super charge your body with artificial energy and give yourself internet access. I found myself the next morning in a situation that you would find a man who had one too many drinks the night before, I had a raging headache and found myself sleeping next to something very ugly. I awoke only to be greeted by walls of text, humor so tasteless it makes raw tofu look good, and colorless pictures trying to pass themselves off as panels for a comic. Yes, dear reader, I had committed myself to reading the Slackerz webcomic.

Downfall

I like to give most things a chance... Something I usually find that comes to kick me right back in my ass. I read through this crap from the first strip ALL the way to the last and came to a revelation, this comic never had a high point. It was falling from the very beginning.

Story and Plot

There is none, just random crap thrown together. You wouldn't throw feces on paper (in this case the internet) and call it a story and so the same rule applies for Slackerz.

Stick figures. Just think stick figures. But before you start cringing and gouging out your eyes at the memory of XKCD, these aren't your average stick figures... These are REFINED stick figures! You know, they wear clothes sometimes. But I have to give Mr. Hepting and Mr. Smith credit, they don't use stick figures all the time in their strips. But every other character either looks like a stick figure with a thin layer of skin and slightly more detail or a fat disgusting slob. I'm talking about a rainbow of variety here, folks. And when people ARE drawn, they always look like they're wearing goddamned pajamas. In short, I've probably drawn better doodles in the margins of my math homework.

Writing review

Just full of random inane bullshittery. Smith probably sits around at home, work, or wherever he goes and vomits up the first random thing that comes to mind. It just that bad. HURR DURR HURRR, DS TOUCH SCREEN IS SOOOOOO BAD IT ONLY WRITES BAD THINGS LIKE "PENIS" WHEN I TRY TO WRITE SOMETHING ELSE HURF DURF DURF. Or how about HERP DERP DERP LOOK! THE HAMSTER TELLS THE PEOPLE TO DO BAD THINGS AND THEY LISTEN TO HIM HERPA DERP DERP ITS SOOO FUNNY. It's so funny you'll laugh till you cry, or you might just skip straight to the crying part. This isn't writing. I can't call it writing, it's some unholy form of stupidity put on paper.

Author biography

Hepting and Smith are pretty cool guys. They draw shitty stick figures, write terrible plot (if you can even call it that), and aren't afraid of anything.

Conclusion

All in all, this webcomic sucks. It falls flat on its face as a gamer comic and it can't even fill the shoes of a random humor comic. The writing is crap. The art is crap. The comic as a whole is crap.
